Helmut Lang Jacket at T.J. Maxx

Scenario: I went to T. J. Maxx to do some routine browsing and came across this Helmut Lang jacket, which felt like butter and looked like a runway dream. The ticket price was $129, which is an excellent deal for a Helmut Lang piece. The cut of the lapels are going to be very popular this Fall - you will surely see it on your blazers, trench coats, and leather jackets. Unfortuately for me, I needed a size large (since my bust area is large) and I let this beauty stay on the rack. I have hope though for a similar find in the near future. 

 

There was only one jacket, which is one quality I love about T.J. Maxx - you can find unique pieces to add to your wardrobe.

Outfit of the Day

When I saw these fuschia pink chinos by Ralph Lauren, I immediately knew that I had to have them. Coupled with this daring polka dot blouse makes a wonderful contrast. I'll be completing the look with a pair of black pumps and a bold lipstick.

Dressing Room Diaries

Stopped in Marshalls today and spotted a few blouses. Some were hits and others were misses. Here are a few of the picks I liked best. All of these blouses were less than $20. The quality of the material impressed me as well. I am excited to pair this fuschia pink button down with a pinskirt or a pair of chinos.
